roaches

A good way to get rid of household roaches, it is also safe you can put it anywhere and it doesn't matter if kids get a hold of it or if you have pets it won't hurt them at all.
Take something sweet and sticky (like jelly) put a small amount about a half a teaspoon on your counter top, next sprinkle baking soda around it with just a little bit on top. leave it alone. You see roaches have no digestive system therefore they can not burp to get rid of the gas that comes from the BAKING SODA, their insides explode. you can put out as many as you want, i recommend 3 or 4 in the kitchen and everywhere else 2 to 3.
Works quite well and is harmless.
you can also line your cabinets with a fine line of baking soda, place it where you keep food behind the stove as well as the refrigerator.

poison ivy, oak

i recently got the dreadful scratching and rash that comes with poison ivy and poison oak, i tried everything to get the itching to stop which includes caladryl and it didn't help at all. so i went to my mom and she told me to use oatmeal and make a paste out of it with water and put it on it and to my surprise it works quiet well. when you apply the oatmeal if feels very weird, and i'll take the weird over the itching any day of the week. keep applying every couple of hours.
there are a couple of other thigns you can do to avoid the pain associated with poison ivy-oak, they are 1. chlorine it dries it up so you can go swimming in a pool to relieve the pain and dry up the rash. 2. you can use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. i ran out of oatmeal i really didn't want to go to the store but i had rubbing alcohol so i used that. saturate the cotton ball and blot with it or you can do what i did stretch my arm out with a slight angle and pour it down your arm. i had the best sleep last night since i got the stuff, went to bed at 10:30 woke up at 5.30 to put more alcohol on my arms.

ear ache

i recently found out something very interesting from my mother in law, she told me what to do if my ear starts to hurt you see i have bad ears i guess, always getting water or air in them, she said all i had to do was get a cotton ball and the amazing part is just put vicks on the cotton ball
and place it in your ear, said it draws the hurt out. i will definently have to remember that one for future references.

relief of toothache

Did you know that for temporary relief from a toothache, one can use vanilla abstract to relieve the pain.
you need to make sure that it is pure vanilla abstract, not the imitation vanilla. and just use it when you start to feel pain. you can either apply with finger or with q-tip

water bugs

a safe way to get rid of water bugs, is with horse apples depending on the size of the infestation( lived in a trailer and you would just see bunches just scatter when light hit that area). take the horse apples and quarter them up, no special size, then just throw them around you can throw them under your house, the front porch, kitchen cabinets, just anywhere.
and not to worry if you have small children or animals, it won't hurt them the taste is just awful.

cramps

did you know that to ease menstrual cramps you can get peppermint candy and eat it to ease the cramps.
doesn't really matter what kind of peppermint it is weather it is a candy cane or the peppermint from sonic any peppermint will work.
just eat 2 or 3 pieces and the pain goes down.

water/air in ear

Have you ever had water in your ear or maybe air, tried everything to get it out.
I've used this method several times, take a sheet of newspaper and roll it up into a funnel,
place the small part of the funnel into your ear ( you must have two people to do this) light the big end on fire and it will pull out the water or the air from your ear.
it only takes about 5 to 10 seconds forit to work. my exhusband used it on e and it worked, i used it on him all the time.
Make sure to not let the fire get to far down the funnel.
