roaches

A good way to get rid of household roaches, it is also safe you can put it anywhere and it doesn't matter if kids get a hold of it or if you have pets it won't hurt them at all.
Take something sweet and sticky (like jelly) put a small amount about a half a teaspoon on your counter top, next sprinkle baking soda around it with just a little bit on top. leave it alone. You see roaches have no digestive system therefore they can not burp to get rid of the gas that comes from the BAKING SODA, their insides explode. you can put out as many as you want, i recommend 3 or 4 in the kitchen and everywhere else 2 to 3.
Works quite well and is harmless.
you can also line your cabinets with a fine line of baking soda, place it where you keep food behind the stove as well as the refrigerator.

poison ivy, oak

i recently got the dreadful scratching and rash that comes with poison ivy and poison oak, i tried everything to get the itching to stop which includes caladryl and it didn't help at all. so i went to my mom and she told me to use oatmeal and make a paste out of it with water and put it on it and to my surprise it works quiet well. when you apply the oatmeal if feels very weird, and i'll take the weird over the itching any day of the week. keep applying every couple of hours.
there are a couple of other thigns you can do to avoid the pain associated with poison ivy-oak, they are 1. chlorine it dries it up so you can go swimming in a pool to relieve the pain and dry up the rash. 2. you can use rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball. i ran out of oatmeal i really didn't want to go to the store but i had rubbing alcohol so i used that. saturate the cotton ball and blot with it or you can do what i did stretch my arm out with a slight angle and pour it down your arm. i had the best sleep last night since i got the stuff, went to bed at 10:30 woke up at 5.30 to put more alcohol on my arms.
